Timber Fibre Strategy identifies industry opportunities

The Strategy identifies opportunities for the industry to make a greater contribution to achieving national goals, particularly improving carbon and housing construction outcomes.
The Strategic Forest and Renewable Materials Partnership was tasked with leading the development of a Timber Fibre Strategy.
The Strategy identifies opportunities for the industry to make a greater contribution to achieving national goals, particularly improving carbon and housing construction outcomes. It also highlights the need to encourage innovation and investment across the sector, including in its workforce, to build prosperous and strong communities and regions.
The Strategy was prepared for the Partnership by The Fifth Estate and is informed by extensive consideration by the Partnership and across industry.
