Market Access Project: Recommendations webinar

Stakeholders are invited to attend a webinar summarising the recommendations arising from the Market Access project conducted in 2025.
The project, undertaken by Margules Groome, was first launched in July and commenced with an introductory webinar in September 2025, where Private Forests Tasmania introduced the study to explore new and improved ways for Tasmania’s private forest growers to access markets, aiming to strengthen market connections and support long-term sustainability.
The project team completed three on-site workshops and met with a variety of stakeholders through both in-person and phone discussions. In addition, a desktop review of nine market access models and nineteen case studies were evaluated and this work informed the report and recommendations in the short, medium and long term.
Stakeholder input has been pivotal to the process and has contributed to the report and recommendations.
