Agfest 2026

May 7, 2026 8:00am - May 9, 2026 5:00pm

Tasmania's premier agricultural event, Agfest, taking place from May 7-9, 2026, at Quercus Park in Carrick. Once again, you can find us at the TasFarmers site on 809 Eighth Avenue.

Agfest is a fantastic opportunity for farmers and landowners to engage directly with experts and learn more about sustainable timber growing practices, carbon farming opportunities and more. At our booth, you'll have the chance to have face-to-face chats with our team about the benefits and techniques of growing timber on your farm.

You can also sign up to become a member of our Tree Alliance, a growing community of Tasmanian farmers and landowners who agree that managing trees on farms is a win-win for the environment, society and sustainability.

Carbon Forestry 101 project launch!

Join us on Thursday 7 May at the TasFarmers site for the launch of our Carbon Forestry 101 project

Carbon Forestry 101 has been made possible by a $150,000 grant from Renewables, Climate and Future Industries (ReCFIT) and aims to educate, build awareness, understanding and confidence amongst Tasmanian farmers and landowners about carbon forestry.

PFT will generate a variety of resources and run a series of events aimed at educating farmers and landowners about carbon forestry - what it is, how it works, the opportunities and the risks.

We want to help Tasmanian farmers and landowners improve their understanding of carbon forestry and therefore make informed decisions about whether carbon forestry is an opportunity for them.

  • Thursday 7 May 2026

  • 10:20 am to 10:40am

  • TasFarmers site, 809 Eighth Avenue.

Come and find out more at Agfest, and be sure you register your details to be included in the project!
