  Height 6.0m - 15.0m (600-1500cm)   Flowers 6.0m - 15.0m (600-1500cm)   Fruit Woody capsule   Form Graceful tree usually with a short trunk.   Municipalities Break O'Day; Brighton; Central Highlands; Clarence; Derwent Valley; Dorset; Georgetown; Glamorgan-Spring Bay; Glenorchy; Hobart; Huon Valley; Kingborough; Northern Midlands; Sorell; Southern Midlands; Tasman; Waratah-Wynyard; West Tamar   Communities Dry Eucalypt Forest and Woodland   Habitat Notes Tas. endemic. Forest and woodland on dolerite in the southeast of the state.   Site Tolerance Dry; Moist; Rocky; Shady   Frost Tolerance Moderate   Soil Tolerance Clay; Fertile; Loam; Well-drained   General Notes Useful for planting in shady areas. An extremely ornamental tree with pleasing fine foliage and usually neat and compact form. Can be maintained as a tall "bush" by regular tip pruning. Not suitable below powerlines.
